Ring’s SmartChargers will not only safely charge all battery types and even recondition deeply discharged batteries they will not over charge a battery. The final stage of charging with a Ring SmartCharge is called the Float Mode. Once the battery has been charged to its optimum level, no more charge will be added. However the Smart Charger will stay in contact with the battery. If the battery then begins to naturally discharge, the SmartCharger will respond and charge as required.
